Executive Committee
The Executive Committee of the Canadian Federation of Students-British Columbia is the board of directors and is responsible for the implementation of the directives and campaigns adopted by members at the annual general meetings. The Committee is also responsible for the implementation of national services at BC member local unions.
The structure of the Executive Committee allows for members at each local union to have a voice at the table. In addition, Aboriginal members and women members elect a representative for the Committee. The at-large members of the Committee (BC representative on the National Executive, Campaigns Coordinator, Chairperson, and the Treasurer) are also students elected from member local unions.
The Executive Committee is resourced by the Vancouver Office, which is comprised of the staff (CUPE 2396) and both the BC Represenative on the National Executive and the Chairperson, who are both stipended full-time on a one-year term.
